Interactive Designer Travelers Insurance

July 2021 – Present

Created Desktop and Mobile interactive experiences using ADA compliant design within the Ceros platform. Evaluated existing work, identified problems and updated the design to be ADA Compliant. Tested Desktop and Mobile product using the screen reader software, Voiceover, and the Deque accessibility Axe DevTool to ensure it meets WCAG 2.0 AA Guidelines. Researched, developed and tested new design components following ADA compliance to be utilized by the rest of the team within the Ceros platform.

Junior Graphic Designer Travelers Insurance

Assisted with interaction design and print materials within the Creative Services Department. Designed responsive interactive experiences from the initial production stages of researching, concepting, wireframing, to the completion of the final product delivered to clients. Created and revised sell sheets, brochures, ads, flyers, mailers. Created accessible PDFs following WCAG 2.0 guidelines. Prepared and packaged printer ready files.

Freelance Designer Connecticut Children’s

January 2019 – May 2019

Collaborated with another designer to create a 100+ page binder that would be given to new patients with Inflammatory bowel disease. The binder would help guide patients throughout their journey with the disease.

Responsible for monitoring the VCD computer labs with Epson printers and Mac computers. Assisted students with printing and technical issues.

Civic Design is a student-run design firm within the University of Hartford that provides marketing and branding solutions to the non-profit community. The outcome of the assignments ranged from rebranding, promoting events, booklets, and brochures.
